ALSO Associates, founded in 2024 by sisters Sarah and Nayla Barakat, is a Design, Architecture & Research office 
operating between Paris, Milan and Beirut. Beginning as a research initiative in 2019, ALSO explores imagery and nostalgia 
through the sister’s distinct perspectives. ALSO embodies the idea of addition, collaboration, and the fluid exchange
 between their complimentary practices, contradictory relationship.





Sarah Barakat is an architect and researcher based in Paris.

Nayla Barakat is a product designer based in Milan.
